CFATS combines a General Ledger system with powerful investment and investor accounting modules.
CFATS Portfolio Accounting and Reports
- Accounts for virtually any financial instrument including equities, options, corporate bonds, US and non-US government and repos, futures and futures options, foreign exchange trading, cash contracts, derivatives and derivative options. Investment transactions can be entered on an aggregate basis, by individual lot or by using a combination of these methods. Investment data can also be downloaded directly from a prime broker or other counterparty. Transactions that have been entered inaccurately can be easily modified. CFATS keeps a history of the transactions, so transactions that have been entered inaccurately can be easily modified at any point in the reporting process.

- Stock, Futures or Option Gain Report

- Trading Ledger by date or instrument

CFATS Financial Accounting and Reports
- Fully functional general ledger system with complete financial reporting capabilities. CFATS maintains capital contributions, redemptions, cash disbursements, transfers, and withdrawals.
- A multi-currency portfolio and general ledger system. CFATS can maintain separate balances for foreign currencies and trading activity.
- Users can adopt a standard Chart of Accounts or modify the Chart of Accounts to suit their preferences.
- Automatically produces all required internal financial reports for a fund including:
- Statement of Changes in Financial Condition
- Income Statement
- Trial Balance
- General Ledger
- Balance Sheet

CFATS Partnership Accounting and Reporting
- Accounts for all investor financial activity and maintains a complete database of investor information. It automatically allocates items of income and expense and calculates investor fees. CFATS has the flexibility to accommodate distinct fee structures like:
- Hurdle Rates
- High-water marks
- Thresholds
- Loss Carry Forwards
- Multiple classes/series with varying fee rates
- Investors in the same class with varying fee rates
- Beginning of month or quarter fees
- End of month or quarter fees
- Multiple fee types
- Can work with both Capital-based and shares-based funds. With shares-based funds, CFATS can calculate the Net Asset Value per Unit for each issue of shares. It also automatically allocates and reallocates income to partners or shareholders.
All of these reports can be produced at the master fund level or for any subfund or group of subfunds under the master level. Other reports are available and can be created based on individual users needs.
